WhatsApp may soon allow you to recall and edit sent messages

WhatsApp is reportedly getting Gmail's coolest feature: Recalling sent messages. According to a report in WABetaInfo, the Facebook-owned messaging service is testing a new feature that will allow users to 'recall' as well as edit sent messages. This means users can 'revoke' or 'edit' a sent message in case they have a change of mind. The message in case 'recalled', will reportedly be deleted from the recipient's smartphone as well. The functionality is reported to have appeared on WhatsApp beta version 2.17.1.869 on iOS. In a tweet, WABetaInfo also claims that the changelog with these 'upcoming features' too is available.
