JioPhone is free but here is how much you will pay for using it for 3 years

September 1, 2016 and July 21, 2017: these two dates changed the Indian telecom market. These are the dates when Reliance Jio through its two major announcements declared a great war on its rivals. First came the "free" network, which was the Jio 4G. It was literally free for almost six months and even after that it offers data at very low price. Now there is the JioPhone, a 4G feature phone with some smart features and support for VoLTE calls, that is effectively free. Though all the specs and features of the JioPhone have not been yet revealed, the phone has already created a buzz. There are two reasons.   People have been going gaga over smartphones after GST. Many smartphones have received a cut in price post implication of Good and Services Tax in India. Chinese smartphone maker nubia on Wednesday launched its new smartphone 'N2' in India at Rs 15,999. nubia "N2" is powered by 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6750 octa-core processor and comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. "With every nubia product that is introduced in India, we are increasing our ability to respond to feedback of our customers," said Eric Hu, Country Head, nubia India, in a statement. The 5.5-inch device comes with 5000 mAh battery and has standard connectivity options including 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS, USB Type-C, fingerprint scanner and a 3.5mm audio jack.  The dual-SIM "N2" runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Nubia UI 4.0 on top of it.
