Xiaomi  launched a new smartphone( Desh  ka Smartphone) Redmi 5A starting at 4999/- only. This smartphone will be available on December 7, 2017, across Flipkart, Mi.com and Mi Home Stores. Redmi 5A is quad core powered  by  Snapdragon  425 chipset with 3000 mAh  battery that can easily last for 2 days(with moderate usage). Redmi 5A comes with 5 inch screen with 720p resolution, display quality is very good, it is light weight and will fit comfortably in your palm. The first five million customers will get a discount of Rs.1000 for 2GB RAM variant effectively making the price tag of Rs. 4999/- only for base variant. The smartphone comes with a metallic matte finish and will be available in three colours: Dark grey, Gold and Rose gold.  It runs on  Android  7.1.1 Nougat-based MIUI 9. Samsung  released a new color option  for the  Galaxy S8  yesterday and now the  Galaxy S8+  gets to be in the spotlight. The Spanish division of Samsung launched a SMARTgirl Limited Edition version, which essentially bundles the regular phone in Rose Pink with a Swarovski-engraved case. The phone, dubbed Samsung Galaxy S8+ SMARTgirl Limited Edition, was introduced by famous Spanish actress and model Paula Echevarria. On the inside it is no different than any other Galaxy S8+ - Exynos 8895 chipset, 12 MP DualPixel camera, iris scanner and Infinity Display. The SMARTgirl bundle can be bought either on Samsung’s website or at one Orange center in Madrid. The price is €949 and only 7,000 of them will be sold.

WhatsApp  for iPhone has been updated, and brings two new features - the ability to watch  YouTube  videos directly within a conversation, and, the ability to lock recording so users can record a voice message without holding the button down. Notably, the YouTube feature comes with Picture-in-Picture (PiP) mode, allowing users to keep watching the video even when they navigate to another chat. The new WhatsApp v2.17.81 app for iPhone is now available to download via the App Store, and details the changes in the What's New section. Samsung  has officially kicked off  Android 8.0 Oreo  update beta program for its Galaxy S8 and S8+ smartphones and even confirmed the rollout for the Galaxy S7. The South Korean phone maker hasn’t revealed which of its other devices will get the Oreo update. Samsung is  pushing the beta version  of its Oreo update to  Galaxy S8  users, and has already confirmed that the  Galaxy S7  will get the update too. Now we learn that the 2015 flagship  Samsung Galaxy S6  will also get to taste Google's latest sweets. They say Samsung will push an Oreo update, but prefer not to mention when since the ETA of the upgrade is still unknown. Most email services come with built-in contact manager. They provide users the option to save and organise more details about any contact such as email address, mobile number, work number, physical address, birthday, job designation and more. Some also allow you to add specific notes to a contact, for additional information. Switzerland-based Proton Technologies has decided to encrypt the contact manager in its email service, making it the only email service to do so. The feature is rolling out to PC users who have received the latest version 3.12 of Proton Mail. The company is working on making it available on its Android and iOS apps too. The new contacts manager uses zero-access encryption which encrypts the entire contact details in such a way that no one except the user can decrypt and access them.
