Eight years , 26/11 attack on Mumbai

There are some events that move you, some events that inspire you, and some that awaken you from the deep slumber your conscience had gone into. It has been eight years since Mumbai was attacked in the most audacious terror attack in recent history. The city was held hostage for over sixty hours, as the world coming to terms with life after 9/11 got another date with terror to remember in 26/11. 


Pakistan-based terror outfits carried major terror attacks, which drew widespread global condemnation, in Mumbai on November 26, 2008, killing 166 people and injuring hundred of others.




 Heroes of 26 / 11

There were some brave men and women who went beyond the call of duty at grave risk to their lives to save strangers when evil men unleashed murderous mayhem on the city and we salute these saviours of Mumbai's darkest days.

NOTE: All the three police officers were killed on their way to Cama Hospital from CST in a Toyota vehicle. They were awarded the Ashok Chakra, peace time equivalent of PVC posthumously on 26 Jan. 2009.

 The above were those brave hearts who lost their lives preventing "AAMCHI MUMBAI" from the sabotage.
They faced bravely the worst attack on Indian soil. They gave us courage to battle against terrorism. They gave us victory to regain our pride. They are unsung heroes of 26/11. 

 We salutes these Heroes. The memories of the demised will always live in our hearts..!!

CCI imposes Rs 135.86 crore penalty on Google for search bias
