The launch of Reliance led Jio network brought upon a huge revolution in the Indian Telecom market. Its unique and free service attracted millions of users all over India.
The company after its scheme of free trial and free distribution of sim cards led to a huge increase in the customer entries. The main motive of the company is to make calling free all over the nation.
Many famous telecom companies like Airtel, Vodafone were awestruck with the kind of offers Jio services provided. The sim services are run directly through internet and free welcome period of service is provided to people till 31st December.
The owner of Jio – Ambani said that it would unfair to charge people for the plans while the company is still running in its testing period.
However, the other companies filed a complaint against jio because of huge increase in the incoming calls to their networks from Jio users.
The TRAI instead fined the other companies a total sum of INR 3050 crores for blocking the Jio network user calls to avoid drop in their calling service.
There is still no match to what Jio sim offers even after the free service period ends. But, Ambani came up with yet another great news for all his customers.
The free welcome period is extended to March,2017 from December,2016 now. This is resulting in a hoard of new users joining Jio network.
There is an increasing fear in the other telecom companies with the experience Jio is providing to its users nationwide. Though TRAI ranked Jio network to be the slowest 4G speed, people are satisfied because of the cheapest and hassle free methods of Jio.
With the new andsurprisingly amazing schemes provided by Jio to its users, there is surely a big change in the way telecom market used to be.
