Micromax Bharat 1 phone with 'unlimited data' launched: 7 things to know

Indian smartphone brand Micromax has joined hands with BSNL to

launched its 4G VoLTE feature phone in the country. Dubbed Bharat 1,

the smartphone comes at a price tag of Rs 2,200 and will go on sale

starting October 20. The users just need to recharge the phone with Rs

97 per month in order to avail 'unlimited data' and calling facility.

The phone takes on Reliance Jio's JioPhone. Here are all you need to

know about the new 4G phone from Micromax.

Display

The Micromax Bharat 1 comes with a 2.4-inch QVGA display with 240x320

pixels resolution.

Processor

The 4G feature phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 205 processor.

The same processor also powers the JioPhone.

RAM and Storage

The dual-SIM phone offers 514MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage.

The users can further expand the storage by adding a microSD card.

Camera

The phone sports a 2MP rear camera and a 0.3MP front camera for

capturing selfies.

Connectivity features

In terms of connectivity, the feature phone offers 4G, VoLTE, Wi-Fi,

Bluetooth, GPS and USB 2.0.

Battery

The device is backed by 2,000 mAh battery.

Special features

Micromax Bharat 1 offers support for 22 Indian languages and

pre-loaded with BHIM UPI app and BSNL wallet app. Along with this, the

handset will also have entertainment apps for live TV, music, videos

and movies.
